Patience is a virtue, and i'll need it
But all this waiting is distorting my perspective

But this stupidity is festering like garbage
Clouding up my world with its contagious flare
Now there's stupid people everywhere
So i preach with a guitar and with a ballpoint pen

Who on earth should give a damn
When i am finally six feet under
And light years higher
Who in heaven notices when
I do not attend a meeting sunday morning
So i'll try to be a man a god might be proud of
And i'll try to set examples and to rise above

To believe in who i am
Just as long as i know someone else is in the same boat with me
