I take back everything i said about the modern technology
I met her on the escalator and that's good enough for me.

It happened in department store where everything is to be found
Well i was going down from first and she was coming up from ground
While stationary moving by
She passed before my eyes
I could not help but turn around

I was looking up and she was smiling down the

Escalator.

From there the whole thing escalated to the fourth floor coffee shop
We talked about the price of things and oh i hoped it would not stop
And then she said she had to go

But as the escalator slowly took her out of sight she said
