Paroles de Boots
Dylan Jakobsen
I remember saturdays, way back in 99
Shopping with my momma always said
We're spending all daddy's dimes
We'd go running through department stores
Grabbing all that we could
I remember saturdays, just like a little boy should
Saw a pair of boots there on the shelf,
Man i wish they were mine
They were brown and leather all around
Nothing but a simple design
I said momma can i have these boots,
I'd wear them everyday
I begged and pleaded on the ground,
Heres what my momma did say
She said son the price is just too high
I grabbed pennies from my pocket and said i'd pay this time
Then she turned to me, tears filled her eyes
I put the pennies in her hand and said these boots, they will be mine.
