The dead are a rising from fields of green
For hundreds of years they haven't been seen
Screaming for justice they carry the shield
And all of the living in front of them yield

They sacrificed all for their country and king
Knowing the misery that it would bring
To conquer each other they only found death
Still they pushed on 'til their last dying breath

Their life it was simple they once lived as men
Just rotting bones they only offend
While serving their master they now serve up pain
The darkness behind it's the light they now gain

Skeleton army rising up from the ground
Skeleton army that doesn't want the living around

You can't seem to stop them although you can try
They add to the numbers as one of us dies
There's nowhere to run and you simply can't hide
You just can't go home and hang out inside

The guns are just useless there's nothing to hit
And fire won't slow them not one little bit
They slice to the core as your blood starts to run
And you'll lay there dying last look at the sun

The dead have arisen the justice they sought
They only found evil its not what they thought
They sacrifice all for their country and king
With knowing the misery that it will bring

The skeleton army has risen from the ground
Led into battle by an evil crown

Evil rising spreading fear to the living far and near
Slicing swords cut to the bone and they're never going home
You can't stop them if you try watching those around you die
Hope is lost and so are you there is nothing else that you can do
